Ways to Stay Beautiful All Summer Long

As every day leaves us we can feel summer approaching - everyday getting longer and hotter. Here are some of my favorite tips in having a fun and beautiful summer!

• An obvious precaution I want to put out there is please wear sun screen (at least 40 SPF) - sunscreen protects your beautiful skin from age spots, wrinkles, premature aging and skin cancer. Who thought such a simple product could prevent a disease that many suffer through or eventually pass from - this is something I will always stress as it was always stressed to me

• As you may notice a lot of older people are suffering from skin cancer - this has a lot to do with the availability of sun protectant back when they were   younger - my grandfather for instance never wore sunscreen as a young child, and he is suffering the consequences now in life - he has had a multitude of cancer cells removed and has to constantly go in for check ups - this isn’t just to prevent wrinkles, its to elongate your life!

• This of course doesn’t mean you can’t have nice glowy tan skin - I have been testing out a few great self tanners and right now one of my favorites is by Fake Bake ($21) - I will review this further along with a few other self tanners on a later date fully - but I really love that it looks so natural, is build-able and instant, and is in a body butter form - there are tons of other forms in case you would prefer other ways of application. The drugstore also has plenty of choices for self tanner so you can be tan on any budget or convenience.

• Try a tinted moisturizer in the summer instead of a foundation! Most people spend their summers outside, whether cooling off in the pool, at the ocean, outside barbecues, gardening, whichever outside adventures you take part in - the summer heat takes a toll on the longevity of your makeup - no one wants half their face melting off onto their new tank tops or summer dresses - you can even wear a face tanner which is build-able, some have spf, and leaves coverage on your skin while providing a healthy glow
